National Campaigns
YM Never Stops
We showcase virtual NeighborNets from across the nation, showing how despite COVID-19 and the closings of in person meet-ups at mosques, YM never stops.
Alumni Campaigns
We feature various YM alumni on our social media pages, allowing them to takeover our Instagram pages in order to give our members and the youth that follow us a glimpse into the life after YM, and how the work we do in YM influences our future professions, careers, families, and more.
Humans of YM
We showcase members of YM, their testimonies, and how YM has influenced their lives.
Back2School
YM in collaboration with ICNA Relief has participated in the Back2School supplies and backpack giveaways for students this fall. Throughout the nation, Muslim Youth have helped pack backpacks with school supplies, put them in trucks, and assist in distributing them to communities in need.
National Hijab Day
YM has run hijab day events in local mosques, schools, and libraries, often in collaboration with Gain Peace. These events have brought awareness and acknowledgement to the hijab that many Muslim youth girls wear, and helps encourage compassion and empathy to combat the rise of Islamophobia in the USA.
Solidarity and Awareness
YM stands in solidarity with our Black Muslim and Non Muslim brothers and sisters in the USA, and we pledge to work towards making our own spaces more inclusive to ALL Muslim American youth. YM has run several awareness campaigns on domestic and international issues, including but not limited to: Black Lives Matter, Juneteenth, Yemen, Lebanon, and Imam Jamil Al-Amin.
Muslim Youth Issues - Judgement Stigma
YM ran a judgement stigma survey of the Young Muslims in the USA to understand the issues many youth face in Islamic spaces, specifically the judgement stigma that exists in Islamic organizations, masjids, and community leaders.
YM Goes Green
The YM Sisters Goes Green Campaign was geared towards raising awareness about environmental issues and taking care of the earth. It is our responsibility as Muslims to raise our voices together and raise awareness.
Along with having Halaqas, it was encouraged to participate in community events such as planting flowers at the masjid, local trash cleanups, and spreading awareness on social media.
YM LikeAMirror
This campaign is geared towards women's empowerment and creating a culture of women bringing up other women as opposed to pushing them down. We need to create an environment where we are praising each other instead of pointing out our flaws.
This project was aimed to promote the importance of thinking positively and bringing each other up.
