NeighborNets
Our chapters, known as NeighborNets, typically gather on Friday or Saturday evenings. These gatherings feature discussions on Islamic topics centered around youth issues, followed by enjoyable activities fostering fun and sisterhood. From painting and crafts to sports and food runs, NeighborNet activities are diverse and engaging.
NeighborNets play a crucial role in offering the youth a wholesome social network within an Islamic atmosphere, fostering a strong sense of sisterhood. This sisterhood plays an important role in guiding young Muslims as they establish their identity in society. With over 90 NeighborNets meeting weekly year-round, this network spans the nation!
Regional Events
Regional events serve as a bridge connecting the network of NeighborNets, providing members with opportunities to engage with the community beyond their immediate, local surroundings.

Study Circles
As a part of our mission to create individuals to spread the Deen in accordance with Quran and Sunnah, YM mandates that leadership at all levels build a strong foundation in Islamic Knowledge. We believe that Islamic Literacy is essential to carrying out this blessed work without deviation from the truth.
In order to ensure this, YM has established weekly study circles, in which leadership and other qualified members meet regularly with a qualified murabbi to read and discuss texts spanning across a broad range of topics, including seerah, aqeedah, history, Quran, hadith, fiqh, and more.
Young Muslims Conference
The national YMC aligns with the annual ICNA-MAS Convention. During these conferences, we connect with youth from across the nation, providing a platform for scholars to address the Muslim youth of America. Recent conference themes have centered around restoring roots, connecting to Allah, building a blueprint for a lasting legacy, avoiding negative influences, and more!

Young Muslims Leadership Conference (YMLC)
YMLC is our largest congregation of leadership annually. The conference inspires, connects, and trains leadership for the grassroots work we do throughout the year. In 2023, we welcomed over 200 sisters, including YM leadership, cloud, alumnae, and ICNA Sisters. The program covers key principles needed for the Islamic worker, from the vision of YM, to sessions on leadership, tarbiyyah, family, and professional development.
Activism
Beyond serving the youth, we take pride in our collaborations with various organizations, engaging in relief and humanitarian efforts both nationally and locally through our diverse NeighborNets. These collaborations encompass partnerships with organizations like Helping Hand for Relief and Development (HHRD), ICNA Relief, Islamic Relief, WhyIslam, MSA, MIST, and more. We are committed to offering our members various opportunities to contribute to their communities through these initiatives. At the grassroots level, many of our NeighborNets have formed partnerships with local charities, actively participating in activities such as soup kitchens, food pantries, food distribution, park cleanups, and more.
Our organization periodically launches national campaigns like #OurThreeWinners and #LikeAMirror to amplify and unify our efforts while addressing national issues. Additionally, we have a partnership with Helping Hand that sponsors YM members to participate in international relief efforts, such as Youth For Jordan and Youth for Pakistan.
